By accessing or using ThresholdIQ at thresholdiq.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ThresholdIQ is a web-based anomaly detection platform that allows users to upload spreadsheet data (Excel, CSV, JSON, XML), run automatic multi-method ML detection, and receive threshold breach alerts. Data files are processed entirely client-side in the user's browser. Account data, subscription status, and usage metrics are stored server-side on Cloudflare Workers KV.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. Authentication is handled via a magic-link one-time password (OTP) sent to your email — no password is created or stored.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email account used to log in. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or show signs of abuse.
New accounts receive a 7-day unlimited free trial with access to all Pro-level features. After the trial expires, you must subscribe to a paid tier to continue using the Service. No credit card is required during the trial.
ThresholdIQ offers the following subscription tiers (prices in AUD, billed monthly):
Current pricing is displayed on the application. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes do not affect existing subscriptions until the next billing cycle.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. ThresholdIQ does not store your credit card number, expiry date, or CVC — this information is handled entirely by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal (accessible from your account settings). Upon cancellation:
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@thresholdiq.app within 14 days of the charge.

These are functional, not promotional. We do not send marketing emails. Transactional emails are sent via Zoho Mail from support@thresholdiq.app.
Files you upload are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to ThresholdIQ servers. You retain full ownership of your data at all times. We do not claim any rights over files you upload or reports you generate using the Service.
Account data (email address, tier, usage counts, subscription identifiers) is stored on our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you upload does not violate applicable laws, third-party privacy rights, or confidentiality obligations.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) results produced by the Service will be accurate or reliable; (c) the quality of the Service will meet your expectations.
ThresholdIQ is an anomaly detection tool. Alert outputs are for analytical purposes and should not be used as the sole basis for production monitoring, safety, financial, or operational decisions without independent validation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THRESHOLDIQ AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) AUD $100.
The ThresholdIQ name, logo, and application code are owned by ThresholdIQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or reproduce our application without written permission.
ThresholdIQ uses open-source libraries licensed under MIT and Apache 2.0.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee specific uptime levels for any tier.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects changes. Material changes (pricing, data collection, liability) will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria, except where superseded by mandatory local consumer protection laws (including the Australian Consumer Law).
